Library of Congress Maps

The Library of Congress' Geography and Map reading room has converted thousands of old maps into digital images.  You can find photos of old maps of cities and towns, conservation and the environment, the era of discovery and exploration, military battles and more.

The map viewing tool is a little clunky (press the ENTER key to get it to accept your changes) but the maps are cool.
