The Lawrence Livermore National Lab is responsible for ensuring that the nation’s nuclear weapons remain safe, secure, and reliable through application of advances in science and engineering. They also work on high tech weapons, like a Humvee mounted laser gun. Not a lot of photos, but some interesting historical pictures of computing in the 1950s, as well as photos of Edward Teller, father of the hydrogen bomb.
